Why consider the Bible?

Christadelphians believe that the Bible is God's message to man and that it contains a wonderful message about his plan for earth and man upon it.

We think there is much evidence to support the claim that it is from God. This includes:

• The consistency of the Bible

• Prophecy

What is the Bible message?

Christadelphians base their beliefs on what the Bible says, and that is why they encourage everyone to read it for themselves. Our understanding must be consistent with the whole of scripture. To that end we value talking about scripture as it helps us make sure that we really have understood it. In the book of Proverbs it talks of "iron sharpeneth iron" - refering to the benefits of just such conversation.

• Bible Talks: To that end we have Bible Talks. Why not come along on Sunday at 6pm when we give talks on different subjects. Usually each week focusses on an area of Bible teaching or on something which gives us reason to trust it more. We use Bible references so you can see for yourself what the Bible actually says. If you have any questions we invite you to chat with us afterwards.

• Leaflets on Bible subjects: We have these freely available in the entrance hall. Follow the references as you read at your own pace and find out why Christadelphians believe what they do.

• Monthly magazine: The Bible is very relevant to our lives, consequently there are many topical world subjects which have a link with what the Bible teaches. The Glad Tidings magazine is a very easy to read monthly magazine which covers such subjects. Why not subscribe (electronic or paper copy) for free?
