Synopsis
God made enduring promises to Abraham and his Seed, identified in Scripture as Jesus Christ.
The promises centre on land, eternal life, resurrection, and rulership, not immediate reward.
Abraham lived by faith, looking forward to resurrection and a future inheritance he never received in his lifetime.
Through Christ, the promises extend to all who believe and are baptised, making them Abraham’s heirs.
At Christ’s return, the faithful will be raised, given eternal life, and reign with him.
Ultimately, all nations will be blessed, and the earth will become a perfected dwelling place for God
