About 4000 years ago God made some amazing promises to a man called Abraham. He became the father of the Jews and Arabs, and this is why his name is used in the recent peace deals between Israel and some Arab countries, ‘The Abraham Accords’. The Bible reveals that the main thrust of these promises were repeated to Isaac and Jacob (Abraham’s son and grandson) and will ultimately be fulfilled in a special descendent of the family, Jesus of Nazareth.  God has a plan to fill the earth with knowledge about him and intends to establish a kingdom upon the earth with his son, Jesus as king.

The Middle East, and in particular, Gaza is currently in turmoil but according to Bible prophecy this situation will improve, at least for a time. However, before the advent of real, genuine, and lasting peace Bible prophecy also reveals there will be further problems for the area.
